Job Summary:
We are looking the Store Incharge for Kerala, Cochin who is responsible for managing, maintaining, and controlling the receipt, storage, and issue of materials, consumables, tools, and equipment at the site. Ensures proper documentation, inventory accuracy, and timely material availability to support smooth project operations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Receive and verify incoming materials, tools, and equipment as per delivery challans, purchase orders, and invoices.
- Maintain proper records of receipts, issues, and balance stock in both manual and ERP systems.
- Ensure proper storage, stacking, and labeling of materials to prevent damage or deterioration.
- Issue materials to site teams as per approved material requisition slips.
- Conduct periodic stock verification and reconciliation with physical and system records.
- Monitor minimum and maximum stock levels to avoid shortages or overstocking.
- Coordinate with the procurement and accounts departments regarding material discrepancies or non-conformities.
- Ensure proper upkeep and calibration of tools and equipment issued from the store.
- Maintain records of returnable materials and tools from site personnel and contractors.
- Ensure compliance with safety, quality, and audit requirements at the store area.
- Prepare daily/weekly/monthly stock reports and submit them to management.
- Supervise store staff, helpers, and loaders for efficient material handling and housekeeping.
Qualifications and Experience:
- Education: Diploma / Graduate in any discipline (preferably in Material Management or related field).
- Experience: 3–8 years of experience in store management, preferably from construction / Real Estate industry.
- Skills:
- Knowledge of inventory control, material handling, and ERP systems.
- Proficiency in MS Excel and documentation.
- Strong organizational and coordination skills.
- Attention to detail and accuracy in record-keeping.
