Job Title: Store Keeper
Job Summary:
We are seeking a detail-oriented Store Keeper to manage our inventory and supplies for our interior fit out projects. The ideal candidate will have experience in stock management and a strong understanding of materials used in interior design and construction.
Key Responsibilities:
- Inventory Management: Maintain accurate inventory records, including receiving, storing, and issuing materials. Conduct regular stock audits.
- Material Handling: Ensure that all materials are stored in a safe and organized manner. Oversee loading and unloading of deliveries.
- Record Keeping: Document all transactions, including goods received and issued, and update inventory management systems.
- Quality Control: Inspect incoming materials for quality and compliance with project specifications. Report any discrepancies or damage.
- Collaboration: Work closely with project managers, site supervisors, and procurement teams to understand material needs and ensure timely delivery.
- Logistics Coordination: Assist in coordinating transportation and logistics for project materials.
- Safety Compliance: Ensure adherence to health and safety regulations within the storage area.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent; further education in logistics or supply chain management is a plus.
- Proven experience as a Store Keeper or in a similar role, preferably in the construction or interior design industry.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Proficiency in inventory management software and MS Office Suite.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks.
