- Receive deliveries from suppliers and check against purchase orders.
- Inspect goods for quality, quantity, and condition before acceptance.
- Report and return damaged or incorrect items.
- Properly store food, beverages, linen, housekeeping, maintenance, and other hotel supplies.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and well-organized storeroom.
- Follow First-In-First-Out (FIFO) method for perishable items.
- Maintain accurate records of stock levels.
- Conduct regular stock counts and reconcile with system records.
- Monitor minimum and maximum stock levels to avoid shortages or overstocking.
- Distribute items to various hotel departments (kitchen, housekeeping, engineering, etc.) upon authorized request.
- Ensure proper documentation when issuing goods.
- Maintain daily records of receipts, issues, and balances.
- Update inventory software/system accurately.
- Prepare stock reports for management.
- Assist in monitoring consumption to prevent wastage.
- Support cost control measures by issuing items in the correct quantity.
- Help purchasing team in reordering stock as per consumption trends.
- Ensure all goods are stored in hygienic and safe conditions.
- Follow hotel policies, HACCP (for food), and safety standards.
- Prevent unauthorized access to storerooms.
- Work closely with Purchasing, Accounts, and all operating departments.
- Report shortages, slow-moving, or obsolete items to management
