Job Summary:
As a Storekeeper, you will be responsible for managing the receipt, storage, and distribution of goods and supplies within a store or warehouse. This role involves ensuring inventory accuracy, maintaining records, and keeping the store organized and clean, all while adhering to safety and company standards.
Key Responsibilities:

Receive and inspect all incoming materials and reconcile with purchase orders.

Organize and store items in appropriate locations based on classification and usage.

Issue materials to relevant departments or personnel upon request.

Maintain accurate records of stock levels and transactions (manual or computerized).

Perform regular inventory counts and report discrepancies.

Ensure proper labeling, tagging, and documentation of stock.

Monitor stock levels and inform management of low inventory or expired items.

Maintain the cleanliness and orderliness of the storage area.

Ensure compliance with safety and security procedures.

Coordinate with procurement and logistics teams for timely restocking.

Prepare and submit reports (stock movement, damage reports, etc.) as required.
Qualifications:

High school diploma or equivalent; further training or certification in storekeeping or inventory management is a plus.

Proven experience as a storekeeper, inventory clerk, or similar role.

Familiarity with inventory software and systems (e.g., ERP, MS Excel).

Good physical stamina for lifting and organizing stock.
