Key Responsibilities

  • Receive, inspect, and record deliveries of food items, beverages, and catering supplies.
  • Verify quantities, quality, and condition of items against purchase orders and delivery notes.
  • Ensure proper storage and labeling of all food and non-food items in compliance with HACCP and company standards.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date inventory records in both physical and digital systems.
  • Conduct regular stock counts, reconcile discrepancies, and report shortages or damages.
  • Monitor stock levels and coordinate timely replenishment with the purchasing team.
  • Implement and follow FIFO (First In, First Out) principles for all perishable goods.
  • Ensure cleanliness and organization of all storage areas, cold rooms, and dry stores.
  • Coordinate the issuance of goods to kitchen and service staff as per approved requisitions.
  • Assist in internal audits and ensure compliance with food safety and quality management systems.
  • Support waste management and sustainability initiatives by minimizing spoilage and optimizing stock rotation.

Qualifications & Experience

  • Diploma or certificate in Storekeeping, Supply Chain Management, or related field.
  • Minimum 2–3 years’ experience as a Store Keeper, preferably in a catering, hotel, or food service environment.
  • Strong knowledge of inventory control systems and basic accounting principles.
  • Familiarity with food storage standards, HACCP, and temperature control requirements.
  • Proficiency in MS Office and inventory management software (e.g., Oracle, ERP, or similar).
