Store Keeper is responsible for managing the inventory and storage of materials within the manufacturing facility. This role ensures that inventory is accurately tracked, materials are organized and stored properly, and that stock levels meet production requirements. The Store Keeper will also coordinate with various departments to facilitate the smooth operation of the supply chain.
Requirements:
- Valid Qatar ID (QID) is required.
- No Objection Certificate (NOC) from current employer is required if applicable.
- Local Hire Only: Applicants must be based in Qatar.
- Immediate Joiners Preferred: Preference will be given to candidates who can join immediately.
Key Responsibilities:
Inventory Management:
- Oversee the receipt, storage, and distribution of raw materials.
- Maintain accurate records of inventory levels, including quantities and locations.
- Conduct regular inventory audits and reconcile discrepancies.
Stock Control:
- Monitor stock levels to ensure timely reordering of materials.
- Implement and manage inventory control systems to track stock movements and reduce wastage.
Storage and Organization:
- Ensure proper storage of steel products, adhering to safety and quality standards.
- Organize the warehouse layout for efficient storage and retrieval of materials.
Material Handling:
- Supervise and coordinate the loading and unloading of steel products.
- Utilize appropriate equipment and techniques for handling heavy materials.
Documentation:
- Prepare and maintain accurate records of inventory transactions, including receipts, issues, and returns.
- Generate and review reports related to inventory and stock levels.
Coordination:
- Work closely with production and procurement teams to ensure materials are available as needed.
Safety and Compliance:
- Adhere to safety regulations and procedures to ensure a safe working environment.
- Ensure compliance with company policies and industry standards related to inventory management and storage.
Continuous Improvement:
- Identify and implement improvements in inventory processes and procedures.
- Provide recommendations for enhancing storage solutions and inventory management practices.
Qualifications:
- Education: Bachelor Degree or equivalent; relevant certifications or courses in inventory management or logistics are a plus.
- Experience: Previous experience in inventory management, preferably in a manufacturing or steel industry setting.
- Skills:
- Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.
- Proficiency in inventory management software and MS Office applications.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
