Store Keeper

Job Overview

We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Store Keeper to manage and control inventory operations for engineering projects and office requirements. The role involves maintaining accurate stock records, handling material issuance and receipts, and ensuring efficient inventory control.

Key Responsibilities

Inventory & Stock Management

  • Maintain accurate records of all inventory including engineering tools, machinery parts, electrical items, safety equipment, and consumables
  • Monitor stock levels and ensure timely replenishment to avoid shortages or overstocking
  • Manage stock for both operational projects and office requirements
  • Perform regular stock audits, cycle counts, and physical verification

Material Receiving & Issuance

  • Receive, inspect, and record incoming materials and verify against purchase orders
  • Issue materials to relevant departments/projects with proper documentation
  • Ensure proper labeling, storage, and handling of all items
  • Maintain inventory of:
  • Electrical components (cables, breakers, panels)
  • Mechanical parts and tools
  • Maintenance items (lubricants, spare parts)
  • Safety equipment (helmets, gloves, PPE kits)
  • Coordinate with project teams for material planning and usage tracking

ERP / System Management

  • Maintain inventory records in ERP/Odoo system
  • Update stock entries, material movements, and inventory reports in real-time
  • Generate stock reports, consumption reports, and reorder alerts

Documentation & Compliance

  • Maintain proper documentation of stock registers, GRNs, and issue slips
  • Ensure compliance with company policies and audit requirements
  • Coordinate with procurement and accounts for stock reconciliation

Store & Facility Management

  • Ensure store cleanliness, organization, and safety standards
  • Implement proper storage techniques to prevent damage or loss
  • Monitor expiry (if applicable) and condition of stored items

Qualification & Experience

  • Minimum Bachelor’s degree (preferably in Supply Chain, Commerce, or relevant field)
  • Minimum 3 years of experience as Store Keeper
  • Hands-on experience with ERP systems (Odoo preferred)
  • Strong knowledge of inventory management practices

Skills Required

  • Good command of MS Excel and inventory systems
  • Strong organizational and record-keeping skills
  • Attention to detail and accuracy

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: Rs55,000.00 - Rs65,000.00 per month
