About the Role:

We are seeking an organized and proactive Store Keeper to manage our warehouse and inventory of electrical components, control panels, and instrumentation spares. The ideal candidate will ensure accurate stock levels, proper binning, and timely issuance of materials to internal teams and external customers while maintaining a clean, safe, and efficient store.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Inventory Management:

  • Receive, inspect, and verify incoming shipments of electrical goods (cables, breakers, sensors, PLCs, gauges, etc.) against purchase orders and delivery notes.
  • Label, bin, and store items systematically to ensure quick retrieval and FIFO (First-In, First-Out) rotation.
  • Maintain accurate stock records in the inventory management system (manual or ERP).

2. Stock Control & Reconciliation:

  • Conduct daily, weekly, and monthly physical stock counts; investigate and report discrepancies.
  • Monitor reorder levels and alert the procurement team when stock reaches minimum thresholds.
  • Track slow-moving and non-moving items; suggest write-offs or returns to suppliers.

3. Issuance & Documentation:

  • Issue materials to technicians, sales team, or customers against authorized material requisitions or sales orders.
  • Prepare delivery notes, stock transfer notes, and gate passes.
  • Ensure all documentation is filed properly for audit purposes.

4. Warehouse Safety & Organization:

  • Maintain a clean, dust-free, and organized warehouse – especially important for sensitive instrumentation and control gear.
  • Follow safety protocols for handling electrical components (ESD protection, proper stacking, fire safety).
  • Coordinate with the logistics team for loading/unloading and timely deliveries.

5. System & Reporting:

  • Update daily stock movement reports (inward/outward) and share with the finance team.
  • Assist in month-end inventory valuation by providing accurate quantity data.
  • Use barcode scanners or inventory software (e.g., Odoo, Zoho Inventory, Tally) to track stock.

Qualifications & Skills:

  • Education: High School Diploma or equivalent; Diploma in Materials Management / Warehouse Operations is a plus.
  • Experience: 3–7 years of experience as a Store Keeper, specifically in a trading company dealing with electrical, instrumentation, or automation products in Qatar or GCC.
  • Technical Skills:
  • Familiarity with electrical items (cables, switches, sensors, relays, PLC modules, pressure transmitters).
  • Proficiency in inventory software (ERP or dedicated store management system).
  • Basic MS Excel skills for stock reporting.
  • Soft Skills: Attention to detail, honesty, physical stamina (able to lift boxes up to 20 kg), team player, and good communication in English (Hindi/Urdu/Malayalam or Arabic is a plus).
  • Licenses: Valid Qatar driving license (light vehicle) is an advantage but not mandatory.

Preferred Background:

Candidates who have worked in electrical trading, industrial automation distribution, or MEP spare parts warehousing will be given priority.

Pay: QAR2,500.00 - QAR4,500.00 per month
