Store Keeper – Catering Operations

Job Purpose:
To manage, control, and organize all store activities for catering operations, ensuring accurate stock levels, timely issuance, and compliance with food safety and company standards.

Key Responsibilities:1. Inventory Management

  • Receive, inspect, and verify all incoming materials and supplies.
  • Ensure accurate storage and proper labeling of all items.
  • Maintain updated stock records and conduct daily/weekly stock counts.
  • Monitor expiry dates and ensure FIFO/FEFO practices are followed.

2. Stock Control & Issuance

  • Issue materials to kitchen and production teams as per approved requisitions.
  • Maintain minimum and maximum stock levels.
  • Track fast-moving, slow-moving, and critical items.

3. Documentation & System Updates

  • Record all receipts, issues, and stock movements in the inventory system.
  • Prepare GRNs, stock transfer notes, and consumption reports.
  • Support monthly inventory audits.

4. Food Safety & Hygiene

  • Ensure proper handling and storage of food items as per HACCP standards.
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of the store area.
  • Report damaged or expired items immediately.

5. Coordination & Communication

  • Coordinate with purchasing, production, and finance for material planning.
  • Communicate shortages or overstock issues to the supervisor/manager.
  • Assist in forecast planning for catering events and production requirements.

Skills & Requirements:

  • Minimum 2–3 years experience as Store Keeper in Catering or F&B.
  • Basic knowledge of HACCP and food handling procedures.
  • Strong inventory management and record-keeping skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel or inventory software.
  • Physically fit and able to handle store operational demands.
  • Strong attention to detail and good communication skills.
