Job Summary
The Store Keeper cum Purchase Assistant is responsible for maintaining inventory, managing store operations, assisting with procurement activities, and ensuring the timely availability of materials. The role requires accurate record-keeping, coordination with suppliers and internal departments, and compliance with company policies.
Key Responsibilities
Store Keeping
- Receive, inspect, and verify incoming materials against purchase orders and delivery notes.
- Store materials safely and systematically for easy identification and retrieval.
- Issue materials based on approved requisitions and maintain accurate stock records.
- Monitor inventory levels and report low-stock or overstock situations.
- Conduct periodic physical stock counts and reconcile discrepancies.
- Maintain cleanliness, organization, and safety within the store.
- Ensure proper handling and storage of materials to prevent damage or loss.
Purchase Assistance
- Prepare and process purchase requisitions and purchase orders.
- Obtain quotations from suppliers and compare prices, quality, and delivery schedules.
- Coordinate with vendors for timely delivery of materials.
- Follow up on pending orders and resolve delivery issues.
- Maintain supplier records, purchase documentation, and procurement files.
- Assist in negotiating prices and terms under the guidance of the procurement manager.
- Coordinate with accounts for invoice verification and payment processing.
Documentation & Reporting
- Maintain inventory and procurement records using ERP or inventory management software.
- Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly inventory and purchase reports.
- Ensure all documentation is accurate, complete, and properly filed.
- Support internal and external audits related to stores and procurement.
Qualifications
- Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, Commerce, or a related field.
- 1–3 years of experience in storekeeping, inventory control, or procurement.
- Experience using ERP systems is preferred.
Required Skills
- Knowledge of inventory management and procurement processes.

Working Conditions
- Work is performed in both warehouse/store and office environments.
- May require lifting and moving materials within safe handling limits.
- Occasional overtime may be required during stock audits or urgent procurement activities.
Pay: Up to AED2,000.00 per month
