Store Keeper – Fresh Food

Job Description:

We are looking for a reliable and organized Store Keeper to manage our Fresh Food Store/Cold Storage. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining stock levels, ensuring proper storage of perishable items, and supporting daily warehouse operations.

Key Responsibilities:

• Receive, inspect, and store fresh food items (fruits, vegetables, dairy, meat, etc.) properly.
• Maintain accurate stock records and inventory reports.
• Monitor expiry dates and ensure first-in, first-out (FIFO) procedures.
• Keep storage areas clean, organized, and temperature-controlled.
• Coordinate with the purchasing and sales teams for timely replenishment.
• Assist in loading/unloading goods and ensuring safe handling of products.

Requirements:

• Previous experience as a Store Keeper or in food storage handling (preferably in a fresh food environment).
• Basic knowledge of inventory management.
• Physically fit and able to handle goods movement.
• Good communication and teamwork skills.
• Ability to work under pressure and follow hygiene & safety standards.
