Store Manager

Overview
We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Store Manager to lead our retail team and ensure the smooth operation of our store. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills, a passion for customer service, and a proven track record in retail management. As a Store Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing daily operations, managing staff, and driving sales while maintaining high standards of customer satisfaction.

Duties

• Oversee all aspects of store operations, including inventory management, merchandising, and sales performance.
• Lead and motivate a team of employees through effective training, development, and performance management.
• Conduct employee orientation and onboarding processes to ensure new hires are well-equipped for their roles.
• Manage payroll and bookkeeping tasks to ensure accurate financial reporting.
• Implement effective recruiting strategies to attract top talent for the store.
• Maintain inventory control by monitoring stock levels and conducting regular audits.
• Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures while fostering a positive work environment.
• Utilize retail math skills to analyze sales data and make informed decisions regarding pricing and promotions.
• Provide exceptional customer service by addressing inquiries, resolving issues, and enhancing the overall shopping experience.
• Collaborate with marketing teams to develop promotional strategies that drive traffic to the store.

Requirements

• Proven experience in retail management or a similar supervisory role.
• Strong negotiation skills with the ability to influence others effectively.
• Proficiency in cash handling, cashiering, and point-of-sale (POS) systems.
• Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently.
• Strong communication skills; bilingual or multilingual candidates are highly desirable.
• Familiarity with inventory management systems and retail operations best practices.
• Experience in training & development of staff members to enhance their skills and performance.
• Knowledge of budgeting processes and financial management within a retail context.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $22.00 - $27.00 per hour
