Position Summary:

We are seeking motivated and bilingual Store Manager Candidates who can grow within a leading Japanese supermarket chain in the U.S.
This position starts with hands-on experience in store departments (fresh food, deli, grocery, etc.), followed by training in team leadership, staff management, and store operations — leading to roles such as Assistant Manager and Store Manager.

Job Duties:

• Begin with on-site training in food preparation, product handling, sales, and customer service.
• Manage assigned store departments and supervise part-time and full-time staff.
• Ensure efficient coordination between departments and maintain high-quality customer service.
• Support inventory, sales, and cost management tasks.
• Participate in on-the-job (OJT) training and submit progress reports during the first year.
• Aim for promotion to Assistant Manager or Store Manager within approximately five years.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• 10+ years of professional work experience (leadership or supervisory experience preferred)
• Previous experience in retail, grocery, or food service industry is highly desirable
• Business-level Japanese and English proficiency (both verbal and written)
• Strong teamwork, leadership, and communication skills
• Visa Sponsorship: Available (based on experience and relocation flexibility)
