Store Manager – Ice Cream Shop

A growing dessert shop in downtown Raleigh is seeking an experienced Manager to strengthen operations, team leadership, and customer experience.

Overview

We are seeking an energetic and dynamic Manager to lead our vibrant hospitality and quick service dessert shop. This role offers the opportunity to oversee daily operations, inspire a passionate team, and deliver exceptional customer experiences. Responsibilities

  • Create and publish monthly staff schedules
  • Oversee daily FOH and BOH operations including all aspects of dessert operations, including food preparation, quality control, and minimizing waste
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization standards
  • Hire/Fire - Build a rockstar team of 5+ star employees
  • Coach and develop team members
  • Manage labor and staffing levels
  • Oversee inventory and vendor ordering
  • Ensure a first-class guest experience
  • Communicate consistently with ownership

Ideal Candidate:

  • 2+ years restaurant management experience
  • Proven scheduling and labor management skills
  • Strong leadership and communication ability
  • A focus on team supervision, training & development, and leadership in hospitality settings
  • Ability to resolve issues promptly and professionally
  • Organized and systems-oriented
  • Comfortable holding staff accountable
  • Calm under pressure
  • Able to work in cold environment
  • Demonstrated ability to lead by example in a fast-paced environment while maintaining high standards of cleanliness and safety
