Job Description

Roles & Responsibilities

PASONS is a home-grown Retail conglomerate which business interests in Retail – Hypermarkets & Supermarkets, Fine Dining Restaurants, Retail and Whole Mobile Phones & Accessories etc. It primarily focuses upon providing quality shopping experience through world class customer service and quality products. The fast-growing dynamic business is looking for energetic, customer centric, business driven store managers for its new large size stores in the UAE.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Store Operations Management

  • Oversee the day-to-day operations of the hypermarket, ensuring efficient and smooth functioning.
  • Implement and monitor SOPs (Standard Operating Procedures) for all departments.
  • Ensure high levels of customer satisfaction through excellent service and experience

2. Sales & Revenue Generation

  • Drive store sales and achieve monthly/quarterly/yearly sales targets.
  • Monitor KPIs such as average basket size, footfall conversion, shrinkage, and stock turnover ratio.
  • Analyze sales reports and take corrective actions to improve performance.

3. Inventory & Stock Management

  • Ensure optimum level inventory across all categories and departments.
  • Monitor stock movement, fast-moving/slow-moving goods, and conduct regular stock audits.
  • Coordinate with procurement teams for timely replenishment and stock accuracy.

4. Staff Management & Development

  • Lead, train, and motivate a large team of department heads, supervisors, cashiers, and floor staff.
  • Schedule staff shifts, manage attendance, and ensure adherence to labor laws.
  • Conduct performance appraisals and identify training needs.

5. Customer Service & Complaint Management

  • Handle escalated customer issues and complaints in a professional and timely manner.
  • Promote a customer-centric culture throughout the store.
  • Implement customer feedback mechanisms to improve service quality.

Visual Merchandising & Store Layout

  • Ensure the store is well-organized, clean, and visually appealing.
  • Coordinate visual merchandising efforts with the marketing team for seasonal and promotional displays.
  • Optimize layout and product placement to maximize sales and customer convenience.

Compliance & Safety

  • Ensure compliance with company policies, local laws, and health & safety regulations.
  • Maintain high standards of hygiene, especially in food and perishables sections.
  • Conduct regular safety drills and audits.

9. Promotions & Marketing Execution

  • Coordinate and implement in-store promotions, campaigns, and loyalty programs.
  • Ensure promotional materials are displayed correctly and updated as per marketing calendar.
  • Evaluate the success of marketing efforts at the store level.

Salary : Will commensurate with Industry standards .

Experience: Minimum of 5 to 10 years of managing a Large format hypermarket.
