Responsibilities
Training Delivery
- Conduct onboarding programs for new hires, covering company values, customer service standards, and product knowledge.
- Deliver ongoing training sessions on sales techniques, upselling, cross-selling, and store operations.
- Train staff on visual merchandising guidelines, store presentation, and brand image maintenance.
Product Knowledge & Brand Education
- Develop and deliver product training sessions highlighting features, benefits, materials, technology, and care of footwear.
- Ensure staff can confidently advise customers on sizing, fitting, and aftercare.
- Keep teams updated on new product launches, seasonal collections, and brand campaigns.
Performance & Coaching
- Conduct in-store coaching sessions to observe and improve sales techniques and customer interactions.
- Support store managers in identifying training needs and implementing corrective action plans.
- Motivate and inspire teams to deliver an exceptional shopping experience.
Training Development
- Design training materials, manuals, and e-learning modules tailored to retail operations.
- Evaluate training effectiveness through assessments, feedback, and sales performance metrics.
- Regularly update training content to align with industry trends and business objectives.
Compliance & Standards
- Ensure all staff adhere to company policies, procedures, and operational standards.
- Conduct refresher training on health & safety, grooming, and customer service etiquette.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Management or related field.
- 2-3 years of proven experience as a Trainer retail/shoe/fashion industry.
- Strong knowledge of retail operations, sales techniques, and customer service best practices.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and coaching skills.
- Ability to engage and inspire diverse teams across multiple locations.
