Store Manager (Pharmaceutical manufacturing)

The Store Manager in a pharmaceutical manufacturing environment is responsible for overseeing all aspects of inventory and warehouse management, including the receipt, storage, issuance, and documentation of raw materials, packaging materials, and finished goods. The role ensures compliance with Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP), regulatory standards, and internal SOPs to maintain material quality and traceability throughout the supply chain.

Key Responsibilities:

• Supervise daily store operations including material receiving, storage, dispatch, and stock reconciliation.
• Maintain accurate inventory records in ERP or inventory management systems.
• Ensure proper segregation and labeling of materials (raw, packaging, rejected, quarantined, etc.).
• Follow and enforce GMP, GSP, GDP, and safety regulations in the storage area.
• Coordinate with production, quality assurance (QA), and procurement teams for material availability.
• Conduct periodic physical stock counts and reconcile discrepancies.
• Monitor stock levels and ensure reordering as per minimum/maximum inventory norms.
• Manage documentation such as GRNs, material issuance slips, and batch traceability logs.
• Ensure appropriate environmental conditions (temperature, humidity) for material storage.
• Train and supervise store staff to maintain compliance with SOPs.
• Coordinate with auditors and regulatory bodies during inspections.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree or diploma in Pharmacy, Supply Chain Management, or related field.
• 3+ years of experience in store/inventory management in a pharmaceutical or manufacturing environment.
• Knowledge of GMP, GSP, GDP, and warehouse compliance requirements.
• Familiarity with ERP software (e.g., SAP, Oracle, Tally ERP, etc.).
• Strong organizational, documentation, and inventory control skills.
• Good communication and team management abilities.
• Attention to detail and a proactive approach to problem-solving.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: Rs45,000.00 - Rs60,000.00 per month
