Key responsibilities
- Manage daily warehouse operations, including receiving, storing, and dispatching goods
- Maintain accurate inventory records and oversee stock control
- Implement health and safety procedures in line with regulations
- Optimize space utilization and warehouse layout
- Lead, train, and supervise warehouse staff
- Coordinate with suppliers, transport companies, and internal departments
- Monitor KPIs such as order accuracy, delivery times, and stock turnover
- Manage budgets, maintenance, and warehouse equipment
Skills and qualifications
- Degree in logistics, supply chain management, business, or engineering
- Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills
- Experience with warehouse management systems (WMS)
- Understanding of inventory management principles
- Familiarity with local import/export laws and customs procedures
- Ability to handle physical and administrative demands
- Certification in logistics or supply chain (e.g., APICS, CILT) is a plus
