Job Summary:

The Store & Purchase Executive is responsible for managing site stores and procurement functions for construction and real estate projects. The role involves sourcing materials, maintaining optimum stock levels, ensuring timely delivery to sites, and maintaining accurate inventory records — supporting uninterrupted project execution.

Key Responsibilities:Procurement:

  • Identify and source construction materials, tools, and consumables as per project requirements.
  • Obtain quotations, evaluate vendor offers, and prepare comparative statements.
  • Negotiate prices, terms, and delivery schedules with suppliers and vendors.
  • Issue purchase orders (POs) and track material deliveries to ensure timely availability.
  • Coordinate with project, planning, and accounts teams for material approvals and payments.
  • Maintain vendor database and develop reliable supplier relationships.
  • Ensure procurement is aligned with company policies, budgets, and project timelines.

Store Management:

  • Maintain and control site store operations — including receipt, inspection, storage, and issue of materials.
  • Record all material receipts and issues accurately in store registers or ERP systems.
  • Conduct periodic physical verification of stock and reconcile with system records.
  • Ensure proper material handling, labeling, and storage to prevent damage or wastage.
  • Maintain records of returns, scrap, and surplus materials.
  • Coordinate with site engineers for material forecasts and consumption tracking.

Documentation & Reporting:

  • Maintain GRN (Goods Receipt Notes), issue slips, purchase records, and supplier invoices.
  • Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly stock and purchase reports.
  • Support audits and ensure compliance with inventory control procedures.

Qualifications & Experience:

  • Diploma / Bachelor’s Degree in Civil / Mechanical / Material Management / Supply Chain.
  • 4–8 years of experience in store and procurement management in real estate or construction projects.
  • Sound knowledge of construction materials (cement, steel, aggregates, finishing materials, etc.).
  • Experience with ERP or inventory management software (e.g., Tally, SAP, or BuildSmart).
  • Good negotiation, communication, and vendor management skills.
  • Strong understanding of documentation and site coordination processes.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: ₹25,000.00 - ₹45,000.00 per month
