Store Supervisor

Job Summary

The Store Supervisor plays a pivotal role in ensuring the smooth and efficient operation of the store. This position is responsible for aligning daily store activities with the organization, Additionally, the Store Supervisor oversees inventory control, ensures compliance with company policies and procedures. This role requires a proactive approach to problem-solving, a strong sense of leadership, and the ability to foster a positive and productive work environment.

Minimum Qualifications: Graduate/Diploma

Minimum Experience: 5 years of post-qualification experience in store management and operations, with proven expertise in inventory control and stock management systems.

Job-Specific Skills: Store Management, Document Control, Record Maintenance

Excellent interpersonal and problem-solving skills.

Attention to detail and documentation.

  • Exposure to MS Office packages – Excel, Word

Knowledge:

  • ITP, Inspection, Different equipment’s, Material grade, Inventory management, Stock management, store and material management.
  • Knowledge of equipment, materials and tools in mechanical, painting, electrical, HVAC, instrumentation and F&G field
  • Knowledge in ERP.

4. Roles and Responsibilities (DETAILED):

· Supervise and motivate store staff, providing training and ensuring efficient and effective day to day operations.

· Oversee the receipt, storage, and distribution of goods, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.

· Implement and enforce proper inventory management procedures, including cycle counts, first in first out (FIFO) and stock rotation.

· Coordinate with Production and project team to finalize the monthly purchase request to procurement team.

· Make sure the minimum stock for the consumables stock levels aligns with demand and production requirements.

· Maintaining a record the FIM (free issued materials) from the client, which includes the receipt, delivery and if any specific preservation requirement to be followed as per client recommendation.

· Train and mentor warehouse staff, providing guidance and support to ensure their professional growth and development.

· Identify area for improvement and implement initiatives to enhance productivity and cost effectives.

· Ensure compliance with company policies, cleanliness, health and safety regulations, and store procedures.
