Position

Berluti, the only men's House in the LVMH Group, was born in Paris in 1895 and has grown through four successive generations of the Berluti family, cultivating the art of excellence and craftsmanship in shoes, while developing a passion for leather and patina.

In 2005, the House launched its leather goods collection and, in 2011, a ready-to-wear collection.

Today, the collections of clothing and shoes, both made-to-measure and ready-to-wear, and a wide range of accessories, offer an innovative lifestyle while keeping the Berluti spirit.

Berluti is currently looking for a Store Supervisor (M/W) based in our Dubai Mall Flagship Store. Reporting directly to the Store Manager, the Supervisor will support the store manager in the day-to-day management of the business ensuring an exceptional customer experience. They play a key role in the store, motivating and inspiring the team to achieve productivity and sales goals. They must embody the role of Ambassador of the Brand and must be reliable, disciplined, autonomous, and proactive. They must also possess excellent leadership skills, product knowledge, and CRM expertise.

Job responsibilities

BUSINESS AND CLIENT DEVELOPMENT:

  • Assist with supervising and developing the store's activity and performance under the guidance of store management by cultivating a comprehensive and strategic understanding of the business.
  • Monitor weekly and monthly KPIs for store sales and staff performance as well as CRM KPIs.
  • Maximize potential across all product categories offered in-store by leveraging all available resources (VM, training, CRM, events...) and promoting synergies between categories.
  • Work in partnership with the EMEA headquarters teams and Store Manager to identify key opportunities and best practices for the store.
  • Promote customer loyalty to ensure quantitative and qualitative targets are met.
  • Ensure excellence in customer service.
  • Be an expert in products as well as understand industry trends.

TEAM LEADERSHIP AND MANAGEMENT:

  • Support in promoting the spirit of Brand through effective communication with the team.
  • Engage sales team while sharing best practices.
  • In partnership with the Store Manager, create a favorable work environment that is positive and inclusive; empower teams while encouraging innovative solutions.
  • In collaboration with the Store Manager, ensure team development & training (both individually & collectively) by sharing development plans.
  • Participate in onboarding new hires & their onboarding. Stand as support for Store Manager in monitoring individual & collective team performances.
  • Communicate & embody strategic vision, goals, projects & initiatives making sure team consistently displays values & behaviors of Brand.
  • Work diligently with energy & creativity maximizing opportunities to progress brand objectives.

OPERATIONS:

  • Ensure operational procedures are communicated understood & implemented especially concerning transactions inventories transfers etc.
  • Retail excellence: Organize contribute to stock management ensuring respect for visual merchandising.
  • Ensure synergy cooperation between sales teams back office.To ensure that the boutique's image and the care given to products comply with the House's guidelines, and to secure the commitment of the teams in this respect.

Berluti has been making shoes for the elegant man since it was founded. The Duke of Windsor, Jean Cocteau, Andy Warhol… The greatest clients walked through the House’s doors, each one passionate about and captivated by the timeless elegance of these exceptional shoes, elevated to the rank of works of art. Offbeat classicism and technical virtuosity are keynotes of the House, while its character remains the same. Its story began at the end of the 19th century, when a young 30-year-old Italian brought his creative energy to Paris in order to practice his craft as a master shoemaker. He named his first model, a lace-up shoe, after himself, Alessandro, and the House took his surname, Berluti. Since then, every generation of the House has cultivated exceptional savoir-faire in the mastery of form and working with leather and patinas. The result is models that are incomparably elegant and comfortable. But more than simply a prestigious shoemaker, Berluti has always represented a certain art de vivre. Naturally, new areas of expression have been explored: leather goods in 2005, and in 2011 a ready-to-wear line was launched.
