Role Overview


The Storekeeper will work as part of a team responsible for managing warehouse operations, inventory accuracy, and the movement of goods in and out of AWE’s Jebel Ali Free Zone facility. This role requires hands-on logistics experience in UAE Free Zones, including customs documentation, port clearance, and coordination with freight forwarders to ensure smooth import and export processes.


Key Responsibilities


  • Receive, inspect, and record all incoming shipments of equipment, spare parts, and consumables.
  • Ensure proper storage, labeling, and organization of inventory in compliance with company standards.
  • Pick, pack, and dispatch goods in line with sales orders, service jobs, and customer requirements.
  • Maintain accurate stock levels and update all movements in the ERP/Inventory system.
  • Coordinate import/export documentation, customs clearance, and Free Zone authority requirements.
  • Liaise with freight forwarders, shipping lines, and transport providers to ensure timely deliveries.
  • Conduct regular cycle counts and support full inventory audits.
  • Monitor stock replenishment and report shortages, damages, or discrepancies promptly.
  • Ensure warehouse health, safety, and housekeeping standards are maintained at all times.
  • Support logistics for service and rental jobs, including mobilization of equipment and return processing.


Requirements

  • Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Logistics, Supply Chain, or related field.
  • 2-3 years warehouse/storekeeping experience in UAE Free Zones (JAFZA experience preferred).
  • 1-2 years logistics experience including customs documentation, clearance and coordination with freight forwarders
  • Forklift license or ability to operate material handling equipment is an advantage.
  • Strong organizational, multitasking, and problem-solving skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) and CRM/ERP systems (experience with Dynamics 365 Business Central a plus).
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills; fluency in English required.
  • Ability to handle multiple tasks and priorities in a fast-paced environment.
