Job Title:

Storekeeper – Catering / Food Services Sector

Job Purpose:

The Storekeeper is responsible for receiving, storing, issuing, and monitoring food supplies, beverages, and catering materials while ensuring proper documentation, stock accuracy, and compliance with hygiene and safety standards.

Key Responsibilities:

• Receive, inspect, and verify all incoming food items and materials according to purchase orders and delivery notes.
• Ensure proper storage conditions (temperature, labeling, expiry dates, and hygiene standards) for dry, chilled, and frozen items.
• Maintain accurate stock levels by updating records for receiving, issuance, and daily stock movement.
• Organize the store in a clean and systematic manner to facilitate easy access and control.
• Monitor stock expiry dates and apply FIFO / FEFO standards to reduce waste.
• Coordinate with kitchen and operation teams to provide required items on time.
• Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly inventory reports and submit them to the supervisor/management.
• Conduct regular physical stock counts and report any discrepancies.
• Track consumption trends to avoid shortages or overstock.
• Ensure compliance with food safety standards (HACCP and company policies).
• Safeguard stock against loss, damage, or theft by applying proper control procedures.

Qualifications & Requirements:

• Proven experience as a Storekeeper, preferably in catering, hospitality, or food services.
• Knowledge of HACCP and food storage requirements.
• Familiarity with inventory systems and MS Office (especially Excel).
• Strong organizational and time management skills.
• Ability to handle multiple tasks and work in a fast-paced environment.
• Attention to detail and accuracy in documentation.
• Good communication skills.

Pay: ﷼1,500.00 - ﷼2,200.00 per month
