Storekeeper

STOREKEEPER

The storekeeper is responsible for managing goods in the warehouse at all stages, from the time of moving goods into the warehouse, preserving and storing them until the time of moving goods out of the warehouse, and ensuring strict FIFO standard are followed

Roles and Responsibilities:

· Orderly storage and easy access to inventory.

· Regular stock checks and audits.

· Checking that the quantity, quality, date of goods are correct.

· Stocking the materials in proper manner

· Ensuring that the store is kept clean and organized.

· Updating the invoice on the computer system

· Making purchase order to some customers

· Managing and training store staff.

· Accurate reception and documentation of goods.

· Coordination of dispatch and delivery.

· Management of inventory records and reports.

· Collaboration with other departments.

· Review warehousing quality issues in a timely manner.

Qualifications and Skills:

· Proven experience as a Storekeeper, Warehouse Clerk, or similar role.

· Familiarity with inventory management software and systems.

· Strong attention to detail and accuracy in record-keeping.

· Must be organized and punctual.

· Well-presented and professional.

· Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

· Proficient in Microsoft Office.
