Position: Store keeper

Job Purpose:

To efficiently manage inventory and supplies required for the burger restaurant, ensuring proper stock levels, safe storage, and timely issuance of goods to the kitchen and service teams while maintaining hygiene and quality standards.

Key Responsibilities:

• Receive, inspect, and verify deliveries of raw materials, packaging, and other supplies.
• Organize and maintain inventory storage areas in a clean, safe, and accessible manner.
• Monitor inventory levels and coordinate with procurement for replacement.
• Issue ingredients and supplies to the kitchen team based on requisition and ensure FIFO (First In, First Out) method is applied.
• Record daily incoming and outgoing stock in the inventory management system.
• Conduct regular physical stock counts and report discrepancies to management.
• Ensure proper storage conditions for perishable items as per food safety guidelines.
• Track expiry dates and prevent spoilage or wastage.
• Coordinate with suppliers for any issues related to quality or short supply.
• Maintain documentation of all store transactions for audits and compliance.
• Support kitchen and operations team with any urgent material requests.

Qualifications & Requirements:

• High school diploma or equivalent; a diploma in storekeeping or logistics is a plus.
• Minimum 2 years of experience in a similar role, preferably in the F&B or hospitality industry.
• Knowledge of food safety standards and storage requirements.
• Familiarity with inventory software and basic MS Office skills.
• Good communication and organizational skills.
• Physically fit to handle store operations and lifting tasks.
• Attention to detail and proactive attitude.

Working Conditions:

• May involve standing for long periods, lifting stock items, and working in cold storage areas.
• Flexible to work on weekends and holidays as required.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: AED1,800.00 - AED2,000.00 per month
