Job Responsibilities

  • Receive, inspect, and verify materials delivered to the store/site.
  • Maintain proper records of incoming and outgoing materials.
  • Issue materials to site staff/workers only against approved material requests.
  • Monitor stock levels and inform management about shortages or reordering requirements.
  • Maintain proper arrangement and storage of materials to avoid damage or loss.
  • Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly inventory reports.
  • Conduct regular stock checking and physical inventory verification.
  • Ensure all tools, equipment, and materials are properly tracked and recorded.
  • Coordinate with procurement and site departments regarding material requirements.
  • Maintain store cleanliness, safety, and proper labeling of materials.
  • Keep records of delivery notes, invoices, gate passes, and store documents.
  • Ensure proper handling of construction materials, tools, and equipment.
  • Report damaged, expired, or missing materials to management immediately.
  • Follow company procedures for material handling and stock control.
  • Support management during audits and stock inspections.

Skills & Requirements

  • Minimum 2–3 years of experience as a Store Keeper in a construction company.
  • Knowledge of construction materials, tools, and equipment.
  • Basic knowledge of inventory management and storekeeping procedures.
  • Ability to maintain records and prepare stock reports.
  • Familiarity with MS Office and Excel.
  • Good communication and coordination skills.
  • Ability to work under pressure and handle site requirements efficiently.
  • Knowledge of UAE construction industry practices is preferred.
