About the job:

Kent is looking for a Warehouse Keeper / Storekeeper.

Skills and Responsibilities:

➢ Receive and inspect incoming materials against purchase orders and delivery documentation.

➢ Record received items in the inventory management system and maintain accurate documentation.

➢ Ensure proper storage, labeling, and classification of materials according to company procedures.

➢ Issue materials based on approved requisitions from authorized departments.

➢ Maintain inventory records and monitor stock levels to prevent shortages or overstock.

➢ Conduct periodic stock counts and assist with inventory audits and reconciliation.

➢ Report damaged, expired, or missing items to the Warehouse Supervisor.

➢ Ensure compliance with workplace safety regulations and warehouse operating procedures.

➢ Maintain warehouse cleanliness, organization, and proper material handling practices.

➢ Coordinate with procurement and logistics teams for material movement and stock replenishment.

➢ Ensure compliance with HSSEQ guidelines

➢ Perform other duties as required

Role scope:

Handles daily warehouse/store operations, ensuring materials are received, stored, and issued safely and efficiently

In addition to the responsibilities listed herein, the employee may be required to perform other ad-hoc tasks as needed or directed by

the supervisor or management. These tasks will be within the reasonable scope of the employee's skills, capabilities, and role within

the organization. The intent of this provision is to allow for flexibility and adaptability in meeting the dynamic needs of the

organization, ensuring that operational requirements can be met efficiently. All such tasks will be assigned considering the employee's

current workload and with respect to their professional development.

Knowledge/ Qualification/ Training/ Certification:

• High school diploma or equivalent (Certificate in Warehousing/Supply Chain is a plus)

• 1-3 years of experience in warehouse/store operations, inventory control, or material handling

• Basic understanding of stock control, material receiving, and issuing processes

• Knowledge of safety procedures, PPE use, and proper lifting techniques

• Experience with inventory tracking systems or basic ERP software is an advantage

• Ability to work in a team environment and follow instructions accurately

• Forklift or material handling certification is a plus but not mandatory

Communication:

• Excellent command of the English language in both oral and written communication and skills.
