Storekeeper – Civil Construction

Job Description:

We are seeking an experienced Storekeeper for civil construction projects. The candidate will manage site/store materials, maintain inventory, coordinate with procurement and project teams, and support basic financial and accounting processes related to material handling.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Receive, inspect, and record incoming materials and equipment
  • Maintain accurate inventory records and stock levels
  • Issue materials to site as per approved requests
  • Coordinate with Procurement and Site Engineers for material requirements
  • Monitor stock levels and prepare reorder reports
  • Ensure proper storage and handling of construction materials
  • Maintain documentation such as GRN, delivery notes, and stock registers
  • Perform regular stock checks and audits
  • Assist with basic accounting tasks related to materials (e.g., cost tracking, invoices, reporting)
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of the store

Requirements:

  • Minimum 3–5 years of experience as a Storekeeper in civil construction
  • UAE/GCC experience preferred
  • Basic understanding of accounts and finance related to inventory and material management
  • Knowledge of construction materials (cement, steel, fittings, etc.)
  • Experience with ERP systems / inventory software
  • Basic computer skills (MS Excel, reporting)
  • Good organizational and communication skills

Preferred Candidate:

  • Currently based in the UAE
  • Available for immediate joining
