Job Description:
We are seeking an experienced Storekeeper for civil construction projects. The candidate will manage site/store materials, maintain inventory, coordinate with procurement and project teams, and support basic financial and accounting processes related to material handling.
Key Responsibilities:
- Receive, inspect, and record incoming materials and equipment
- Maintain accurate inventory records and stock levels
- Issue materials to site as per approved requests
- Coordinate with Procurement and Site Engineers for material requirements
- Monitor stock levels and prepare reorder reports
- Ensure proper storage and handling of construction materials
- Maintain documentation such as GRN, delivery notes, and stock registers
- Perform regular stock checks and audits
- Assist with basic accounting tasks related to materials (e.g., cost tracking, invoices, reporting)
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the store
Requirements:
- Minimum 3–5 years of experience as a Storekeeper in civil construction
- UAE/GCC experience preferred
- Basic understanding of accounts and finance related to inventory and material management
- Knowledge of construction materials (cement, steel, fittings, etc.)
- Experience with ERP systems / inventory software
- Basic computer skills (MS Excel, reporting)
- Good organizational and communication skills
