Key Responsibilities
- Receive, inspect, and verify incoming materials against purchase orders and delivery notes
- Record all stock transactions accurately in inventory systems or manual logs
- Store items systematically to ensure easy access and prevent damage
- Issue materials based on approved requisitions and maintain proper documentation
- Monitor stock levels and report shortages, damages, or discrepancies
- Conduct regular physical stock counts and reconcile inventory differences
- Maintain proper labeling, tagging, and categorization of materials
- Ensure cleanliness, organization, and safety of the store area
- Coordinate with procurement and other departments for stock requirements
- Follow company policies and inventory control procedures
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent (Diploma in Logistics/Supply Chain is a plus)
- 2–4 years of experience in storekeeping or warehouse operations
- Familiarity with inventory management systems or ERP software
- Basic computer skills (MS Excel, Word)
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Good organizational and record-keeping skills
- Communication and teamwork skills
