Stores Assistant (Shipping & Logistics)

The Stores Assistant (Shipping & Logistics) will support the logistics and shipping unit by receiving, inspecting, and verifying items to ensure the timely handling of both inbound and outbound shipments.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist the Logistics & Shipping Officer in the timely clearance of all incoming consignments, including ADA and customer-related spares, shipped via air, sea, or land.
• Coordinate outbound shipments (air, sea, and land) and customer-related consignments with relevant authorities such as Customs, Cargo, and Freight Forwarders, ensuring shipments are made according to schedule.
• Support the preparation of reports and documentation required by regulatory authorities such as Customs and Inland Revenue.
• Assist shipping personnel with the preparation of packing materials, DGR documentation, and fumigation of packing boxes or crates as needed.
• Maintain accurate records of all incoming and outgoing shipments and provide monthly shipment statistics.

Ideal Candidate will have:

• Valid UAE driving license and forklift operator license.
• 2–3 years of industry experience in supply chain management, warehouse operations, or logistics, preferably in an airline, third-party maintenance base, or large engineering organization.
