About Your Team

This position reports directly to the Project Director and indirectly to the Commercial Manager, with 8–12 direct reports. You’ll work closely with Procurement, Commercial, QA/QC, Planning, and Site Execution teams while representing the Stores function in client and consultant meetings.


Your Role

As a Stores Manager – Snr, you will:

  • Lead, mentor, and develop Stores teams across projects, fostering accountability, safety, and continuous improvement.
  • Forecast and monitor material demand aligned with project stages (first/second fix, commissioning).
  • Ensure secure, HSE-compliant storage of high-value and sensitive MEP materials.
  • Oversee tagging, validation, and audit-ready documentation for QA/QC and compliance.
  • Drive ERP and digital tools (BuildSmart, HIVE, HILTI OnTrack) for inventory accuracy and reporting.
  • Monitor stock reconciliations, aging inventory, consumption trends, and replenishment cycles.
  • Provide stakeholders with KPIs, dashboards, and risk/opportunity reports.
  • Implement strategies for waste reduction, recycling, and sustainable material management.


What We’re Looking For

  • Experience: 10+ years in stores/materials management, ideally within MEP-focused construction.
  • Knowledge: Strong expertise in MEP materials, construction phases, handling protocols, and HSE standards.
  • Skills: Leadership, ERP (BuildSmart/HIVE), inventory systems (HILTI OnTrack), and MS Office Suite.
  • Desirable: Lean Inventory or Six Sigma certification, plus experience developing diverse teams.
  • Education: Relevant qualification in engineering, logistics, or equivalent professional experience.
