Strategic Account Executive – Data Center Telemetry

The Role

RF Code is seeking a Strategic Account Executiveto serve as a high-level advisor to the world’s largest enterprise data center operators, hyperscalers, NeoClouds, GenAI, and colocation providers. Unlike a traditional sales role, this position requires a "diagnostician" mindset—someone who can identify operational needs and map them to solutions for the specific financial and physical risks for the data center operator.

You will not just be selling sensors and software; you will be discovering needs, navigating complex buying tribes, and advising executive leaders on achieving their data center business objectives.

Key Responsibilities

  • Systemic Diagnosis & Discovery: Lead high-level discovery sessions with buying stakeholders, including executives, to identify growth barriers, operational inefficiencies, and systemic risks within their global data center footprint.
  • Buying Tribe Navigation: Proactively map and navigate the "buying tribe" within enterprise organizations, building consensus and relationships across Data Center Operations, Facilities, IT Infrastructure, Finance, and Procurement to drive enterprise-wide adoption.
  • Financial & ROI Modeling: Act as a strategic advisor to clients by building compelling ROI models that justify technology adoption through reduced risk and improved operational efficiency.
  • Operational Partnership: Act as an extension of the client’s team, auditing internal workflows to identify where manual processes or lack of visibility are costing the business.
  • Strategic Account Orchestration: Formulate and execute multi-year business plans for Key Enterprise Accounts, moving beyond transactional sales to long-term operational integration.
  • Implementation Strategy: Partner with client leadership to drive specific implementation strategies, ensuring that RF Code’s telemetry data is effectively integrated into their existing business processes to maximize realized ROI.

Required Experience & Profile

  • The "Consultant" DNA: 5+ years of enterprise technology sales with a track record of acting as a Subject Matter Expert rather than a generalist.
  • C-Suite Fluency: Proven ability to engage, challenge, and influence leaders at the Director, VP, and C-Suite levels.
  • Data Center Expertise: Deep familiarity with the data center ecosystem (hyperscale, colo, NeoCloud, GenAI, enterprise) and the specific challenges of high-density compute/AI infrastructure.
  • Complex Consensus Building: Experience managing complex, multi-stakeholder sales cycles where "buying consensus" is the primary hurdle.
  • Analytical Rigor: Proficiency in building data-driven business cases and complex financial models to support enterprise-wide investments.
  • Proven Sales Performance: History of meeting quota by managing the full enterprise sales cycle from prospecting through contract execution
  • Values Being Present: Ability to travel for customer meetings and industry events

Preferred Background

  • Direct experience in Data Center Infrastructure Management (DCIM), environmental monitoring, or power/cooling optimization.
  • Experience with Challenger Sale or Consultative Selling methodologies.
  • Background in operational auditing or business process improvement within high-tech environments.
  • Existing relationships with leadership teams at major hyperscalers and/or global financial institutions.
  • Success collaborating with channel and strategic partners
