We are seeking an experienced Strategic M&A Deal Lead to drive high-impact acquisition, divestiture, and strategic partnership transactions. The ideal candidate will combine strong transaction execution skills with commercial judgment, financial analysis, and the ability to work closely with senior leadership to deliver value-creating deals.
Responsibilities
- Lead the end-to-end M&A process, from opportunity identification through closing and early integration.
- Source, screen, and prioritize acquisition and strategic investment opportunities aligned with corporate strategy.
- Build financial models, valuation analyses, and investment cases to support decision-making.
- Coordinate due diligence across legal, finance, tax, commercial, operations, and external advisors.
- Negotiate transaction terms, commercial structures, and key deal documentation.
- Prepare board papers, executive presentations, and approval materials for senior stakeholders.
- Support post-deal integration planning and execution to capture synergies and ensure smooth transition.
- Monitor market trends, competitor activity, and transaction benchmarks to identify new opportunities.
- Manage relationships with advisors, counterparties, internal business leaders, and investors.
- Ensure compliance with internal governance, approval processes, and regulatory requirements.
Qualifications
- 7+ years of experience in M&A, corporate development, investment banking, private equity, or transaction advisory.
- Strong experience leading or supporting acquisitions, divestitures, joint ventures, or strategic partnerships.
- Advanced financial modeling, valuation, and analytical skills.
- Strong understanding of deal structure, due diligence, and transaction documentation.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills.
- Ability to manage multiple transactions simultaneously under tight deadlines.
- Bachelor’s degree in finance, economics, business, accounting, or a related field required; MBA, CFA, or equivalent preferred.
Preferred Experience
- Exposure to cross-border transactions or regulated industries.
- Experience working directly with executive leadership, boards, or investment committees.
- Familiarity with post-merger integration and synergy realization.
- Background in industries such as real estate, financial services, industrials, energy, technology, or infrastructure.
