Job Summary:

Our client is seeking a strategy focused professional with a strong background in banking strategy, management consulting, or financial transformation. The ideal candidate will bring analytical rigor, problem solving ability, and experience in developing and executing strategic initiatives within the banking or financial services sector.

This role offers the opportunity to work closely with senior leadership on high impact projects, including business transformation, product strategy, and performance optimization.

Key Responsibilities: Strategic Planning & Execution

• Support the development of corporate and business unit strategies aligned with overall banking objectives.
• Conduct market, financial, and competitive analysis to identify growth opportunities and operational efficiencies.
• Assist in preparing strategic roadmaps, business cases, and board level presentations.
• Contribute to the design and implementation of transformation and profitability improvement programs.

Research & Insights

• Analyze market trends, customer behaviors, and financial performance data to support strategic decision making.
• Benchmark against competitors and identify emerging opportunities in digital banking, fintech, and risk management.
• Work on scenario modeling and financial projections to support investment and growth strategies.

Stakeholder Collaboration

• Collaborate with product, finance, risk, and technology teams to align business initiatives with strategic priorities.
• Support leadership in developing performance dashboards and strategic KPIs.
• Engage with consulting partners and external stakeholders on specialized strategy or transformation projects.

Requirements:

• Bachelor or Masters degree in Business, Economics, Finance, or related discipline (MBA preferred).
• 2 5 years of experience in strategy, consulting, or transformation, ideally within:
  • Big 4 firms (Deloitte, PwC, EY, KPMG), or
  • Top tier strategy consultancies (McKinsey, BCG, Oliver Wyman, Bain & Co.).
• Strong understanding of banking, financial services, or fintech ecosystems.
• Exceptional analytical, presentation, and communication skills.
• Proficiency in PowerPoint, Excel, and financial modeling tools.
