Structural Design Engineer

Key Responsibilities

• Analyze structural systems following project specifications, codes, and standards
• Design of all structural members including but not limited to foundations, slab on grade, columns, beams, slabs, cantilevers, etc.
• Prepare building sketches\drawings showing dimensions, elevations & cross sections if needed.
• Use soil report & geotechnical investigation results to decide foundation type requirements
• Estimate the needed quantities of materials to complete projects and select them correctly based on design specifications

Qualifications & Requirements

• • Strong in MS Office.
• Strong CAD/MicroStation
• Capability of using design & drafting software including but not limited to Staad pro, SAP, ETABs & AutoCAD
• Awareness of building codes and standards
• Use computer-aided design technology for structural analysis and design purpose
