Structural Design Engineer

Structural Design Engineer to design, analyze, and simulate poles, gantries, and foundations for ITS equipment. You will ensure that all structures comply with safety, durability, and performance standards, including wind and seismic conditions, and produce comprehensive simulation reports for deployment.

Duties & Responsibilities

• Design poles, gantries, and supporting foundations for ITS equipment installation, considering load, geometry, and site-specific requirements.
• Conduct structural analysis and simulations for static and dynamic loads, including wind, seismic, and operational loads.
• Prepare detailed design drawings, technical specifications, and simulation reports for review and approval.
• Optimize structural designs for cost, safety, and performance while complying with relevant building codes and industry standards.
• Perform foundation design and soil-structure interaction analysis for ITS installations.
• Utilize structural analysis and simulation software to model, test, and validate designs (e.g., STAAD.Pro, ETABS, SAP2000, ANSYS, or equivalent).
• Collaborate with civil, mechanical, and electrical teams to integrate structural solutions with ITS equipment.
• Participate in site inspections, monitoring, and verification of installed structures.
• Maintain up-to-date knowledge of industry trends, standards, and best practices for ITS infrastructure.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Civil, Mechanical, or Structural Engineering.

Required Skills

• Experience: 3–5 years in structural design and analysis, preferably in poles, gantries, towers, or ITS-related structures.
• Expertise in structural analysis and simulation software: STAAD.Pro, ETABS, SAP2000, ANSYS, or equivalent.
• Experience with wind and seismic load analysis and design.
• Strong knowledge of foundation design, soil mechanics, and structural optimization.
• Ability to prepare clear technical reports and drawings.
• Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills.
• Familiarity with relevant national and international codes/standards for structural design.

Pay: Rs100,000.00 - Rs150,000.00 per month
