ITS Design Engineer

We are seeking a talented ITS Engineer to join our R&D team and contribute to the development, management, and optimization of ITS hardware within our product portfolio. In this role, you will design, implement, and conduct in-depth research on ITS hardware deployed on roads and motorways, ensuring maximum performance and integration with operational systems.

Duties & Responsibilities

• Design, prototype, test, and qualify ITS hardware systems under guidance from the CTO or ITS Expert, including:
• Automatic Vehicle Identification (AVI) Systems
• Automatic Vehicle Classification (AVC) Systems
• Weight-in-Motion (WIM) Systems
• Realtime Weather Information Systems
• Advanced Traffic Management Systems (ATMS)
• Incident Detection Systems
• Video Surveillance Systems
• Variable Message Signage (VMS) Systems.
• Understand the deployment requirements, maintenance procedures, and operational prerequisites for all ITS hardware.
• Lead optimization and fine-tuning of currently deployed systems to maximize performance and potential.
• Collaborate with application development and O&M teams to resolve integration and maintenance issues.
• Maintain a comprehensive knowledge base of deployed and planned ITS hardware systems.
• Prepare corporate-level technical documentation and present system designs visually.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2–3 years of experience in ITS solution design, implementation, or R&D.
• Bachelor’s degree in Electronics, Electrical Engineering, Transportation, or related field.

Required Skills

Proven expertise in:

• RFID technologies
• Access Control Systems (PACS/VACS)
• SMD displays
• AVC systems using Fiber, LiDAR, and IR sensors
• Enterprise-level IP surveillance system design
• Weighing solutions (WIM, HSWIM, SSWIM, Static Weight Stations) using multiple techniques
• Realtime weather stations for roads/motorways
• Security Operations Center (SOC) and Traffic Operations/Control Center (TCC/TOC) design and SOPs
• Video analytics for vehicles, traffic, and tolling systems.
• Strong ability to present system designs visually and prepare corporate technical write-ups.
• Self-motivated team player with the ability to work independently under demanding circumstances.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: Rs100,000.00 - Rs150,000.00 per month
