STRUCTURAL DESIGNER [STEEL]

Overview

We are seeking a highly ambitious Structural Designer with a strong understanding of steel construction. Experience in modular construction will be considered an added advantage.

Location: Abu Dhabi – ICAD, Mussafah
Job Type: Full-time
Level: Intermediate
Experience: 3-5 Years

Responsibilities

• Prepare detailed structural design calculations in accordance with relevant codes and standards.
• Develop safe and feasible lifting designs as per industry standards
• Prepare comprehensive structural design reports and documentation.
• Perform connection design and calculations using Idea statica software.
• Create and manage structural models using Revit. [Added advantage]
• Coordinate with the tendering department to assist with structural inputs such as steel tonnage, connection details, foundation anchoring etc
• Support the drafting department in preparing fabrication/shop drawings as per project specifications and requirements.
• Reviewing of production and fabrication drawings to make sure they are as per project specifications and design intent.
• Attending consultant meetings and discussion for successful submission of structural shop drawings and other structural documentation.

Academic qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering [Civil ]

Software Skills

• STAAD.Pro – Mandatory
• IDEA StatiCa- Mandatory

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: AED84,489.26 - AED101,750.51 per year
