Structural Drafting or Structural Engineer

We’re Hiring – Specialized Structural Draftsman (RCC Detailing)

We are looking for a Specialized Structural Draftsman to join our team in Abu Dhabi, UAE, with expertise in RCC structural detailing and shop drawing preparation for construction projects.

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare structural shop drawings and reinforcement detailing based on IFC and design drawings.
• Develop bar bending schedules (BBS), rebar layouts, formwork, and concrete pour sequence drawings.
• Coordinate with site engineers, structural engineers, and consultants to resolve design or detailing issues.
• Ensure compliance with ACI, BS, and local UAE standards.
• Revise drawings as per consultant comments and site conditions.

Requirements:

• Diploma or Degree in Civil / Structural Engineering or related field.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in preparing RCC structural shop drawings for major building or infrastructure projects.
• Excellent command of AutoCAD (knowledge of Revit Structure or CADS RC is a plus).
• Ability to interpret structural design drawings, sections, and reinforcement details.
• Experience with post-tensioned slabs, pile caps, and retaining structures preferred.
