Structural Draughtsman

The Role
We are seeking a skilled Structural Draughtsman to join our dynamic construction team in Dubai. This role involves preparing detailed structural drawings and plans that are critical to the successful execution of construction projects. The ideal candidate will bring precision, technical expertise, and a collaborative mindset to ensure designs are accurately translated into high-quality documents. Responsibilities: - Prepare detailed structural drawings and plans using CAD software as per project specifications. - Collaborate with engineers and architects to ensure design accuracy and feasibility. - Review and update drawings to incorporate design changes and modifications. - Coordinate with project teams to meet deadlines and project requirements. - Ensure all structural drawings comply with relevant codes, standards, and regulations. - Assist in the preparation of project documentation and reports. - Maintain organized records of drawings and revisions for easy accessibility.

Requirements

• Proven 3 experience as a Structural Draughtsman, preferably in the construction industry. - Proficiency in CAD software such as AutoCAD or similar drafting tools. - Strong understanding of structural engineering concepts and construction processes. - Ability to interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and specifications accurately. - Detail-oriented with excellent organizational skills. - Good communication skills to collaborate effectively with multidisciplinary teams. - Knowledge of local building codes and construction regulations in the UAE is a plus. - Relevant diploma or certification in drafting, civil engineering, or related fields.
