Structural Engineer

Job Summary:


A highly experienced and technically proficient Structural Engineer capable of leading the design, analysis, and supervision of complex real estate development projects. Brings a strong background in structural systems for high-rise buildings, commercial complexes, and residential developments.

Demonstrates deep expertise in structural design and construction methodologies, with the ability to lead multidisciplinary coordination and ensure compliance with all applicable building codes and regulations. Plays a critical role in maintaining structural safety, integrity, and cost-efficiency throughout all project phases, working closely with architects, MEP engineers, and contractors to deliver successful outcomes across diverse developments.t, excellent negotiation skills, and a commitment to delivering outstanding customer service.


Responsibilities:


  • Lead the structural design and analysis of complex real estate developments, ensuring code compliance and structural safety.
  • Provide technical leadership in the review and approval of structural plans, drawings, and calculations.
  • Supervise and coordinate with multidisciplinary teams including architectural, MEP, and construction teams.
  • Conduct site visits and structural inspections to ensure work is progressing according to design and quality standards.
  • Review and validate shop drawings, material submittals, and contractor methodologies.
  • Participate in value engineering to optimize structural design and reduce project costs without compromising safety or performance.
  • Ensure compliance with local and international building codes, zoning laws, and safety regulations.
  • Support permitting and authority approvals through accurate documentation and coordination.
  • Mentor junior engineers and contribute to technical knowledge sharing within the team.

Qualifications:


  • Bachelor’s degree in Structural or Civil Engineering (master’s degree preferred).
  • 15–20 years of experience in structural engineering, primarily within the real estate development or construction sector.
  • Licensed Professional Engineer (PE) or equivalent certification is required.
  • Expert knowledge of structural analysis software (e.g., ETABS, SAP2000, SAFE, STAAD.Pro).
  • Proficient in AutoCAD, Revit (BIM), and other design and drafting tools.
  • Deep understanding of structural systems including concrete, steel, foundations, and seismic design.
  • Proven experience with high-rise, commercial, or residential development projects.
