Structural Engineer

Key Responsibilities:

Design & Analysis

• Review and assess structural requirements for interior fit-out projects including partitions, mezzanines, suspended ceilings, and load-bearing elements.
• Perform structural calculations and prepare design drawings as per local authority standards and building codes.
• Validate the structural adequacy of proposed modifications to existing structures.

Technical Coordination

• Coordinate with architects, MEP engineers, and designers to integrate structural elements into overall project design.
• Provide technical input during project planning and execution phases.
• Liaise with consultants and authorities for structural approvals, load calculations, and design verification.

Site Supervision

• Inspect site works to ensure structural works are executed as per approved drawings and specifications.
• Monitor and verify material quality, fabrication, and installation procedures.
• Conduct on-site problem-solving for any structural issues encountered during execution.

Compliance & Documentation

• Ensure compliance with UAE building codes, safety regulations, and relevant standards.
• Prepare structural reports, shop drawings, and as-built documentation.
• Support tendering and estimation teams with technical data and structural input.
