Avante Façade Consulting is a global consulting firm with offices in North America, Korea, India and Turkey. We are seeking an highly experienced Structural Engineer to support projects throughout the Indian market. The Structural Engineer for supporting multiple façade consulting projects with a wide variety of large scale buildings. The ideal candidate would be competent in AutoCAD, BIM, Revit, STAAD, Therm, ANSYS, NISA, and MS Office. Competency in other software such as Rhino, Catia and SOLIDWORKS are highly desirable. Language skills must include fluency in English (verbal and written). The candidate should be well familiar with façade related code book practice of ASTM, BS, IS & NBC (India).

The work scope includes the following:

1. Review new projects and develop a finite estimate for manhours in concert with company Directors.

2. Collaborate with team within our large staff to support each assigned project.

3. Coordinate design and engineering with our staff designers and engineers.

4. Review client drawings, renderings and other documents prior to initiating submittal drawings.

5. Ensure that the administrative support is in place for timely client responses and follow up.

6. Maintain committed schedule durations.

7. Develop comprehensive engineering calculations and assess suitable material applications.

8. Provide peer reviews as required.

9. Maintain the highest level of customer engagement and service.

10. Strong interpersonal and team building skills.

Qualifications:

1. BE degree in civil engineering.

2. Ability to travel within the market area (India).

3. Successful work experience in the façade industry for a minimum of 5 years.

4. Project portfolio of projects with primary responsibility for the façade elements.

Compensation | Benefits

The position is full time in office, no remote work will be considered. Competitive compensation package includes salary, benefits and incentives.
