Structural Engineer

Job Purpose:

The Structural Engineer will be responsible for supervising and ensuring the correct execution of all structural works related to sewer and storm water pipeline projects as per approved drawings, technical specifications, and quality standards. The role focuses on site supervision, quality assurance, and structural compliance during construction.

Key Responsibilities:Site Execution & Supervision:

• Supervise day-to-day structural activities such as RCC manholes, chambers, head walls, drains, thrust blocks, and other pipeline structures.
• Ensure work is executed strictly as per approved structural drawings and method statements.
• Check reinforcement, formwork, and concrete placement before and during execution.
• Verify dimensions, levels, and alignments as per design and site conditions.
• Coordinate with surveyors and site engineers for line and level setting.

Quality Assurance & Control:

• Ensure compliance with IS codes and project specifications for all structural works.
• Inspect reinforcement, concrete quality, curing, and finishing at every stage.
• Monitor testing of materials such as cement, steel, aggregates, and cube strength.
• Maintain site inspection reports, checklists, and pour cards.

Coordination & Reporting:

• Coordinate with planning, quality, and billing teams for daily progress and measurement verification.
• Report deviations, site issues, or technical discrepancies to the Project Manager and get approvals before execution.
• Assist in preparing daily progress reports (DPRs) and maintain records of structural work completed.
• Supervise contractor teams and ensure productivity and workmanship quality.

Pay: ₹30,000.00 - ₹35,000.00 per month
