Structural Engineer

Job Description:

We are seeking a qualified and detail-oriented Structural Engineer licensed by Abu Dhabi Municipality to join our engineering team. The candidate will be responsible for the analysis, design, and supervision of structural elements for various residential, commercial, and mixed-use projects, ensuring compliance with UAE building codes and Abu Dhabi Municipality standards.

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare structural design calculations and detailed drawings for reinforced concrete and steel structures.
• Review and approve structural shop drawings and material submittals.
• Ensure compliance with Abu Dhabi Municipality, ADM, and UAE Civil Defense codes and regulations.
• Coordinate with architects, MEP engineers, and contractors during all design and construction stages.
• Conduct site visits to inspect ongoing works and ensure design implementation and quality control.
• Prepare structural reports, method statements, and inspection requests as required.
• Assist in obtaining building permits and completion certificates from relevant authorities.
• Review existing structures for renovation or extension projects, providing strengthening or modification solutions.
• Ensure all structural works adhere to project specifications, safety standards, and timelines.

• Qualifications & Skills:
• Bachelor’s Degree in Civil or Structural Engineering (Master’s preferred).
• Minimum 4 years of professional experience in structural design and supervision within the UAE.
• Valid Structural Engineer License from Abu Dhabi Municipality.
• Strong knowledge of UAE design codes and international standards (BS, ACI, UBC, or Eurocode).
• Proficiency in structural analysis and design software (ETABS, SAFE, STAAD, SAP2000, AutoCAD).
• Excellent problem-solving, communication, and coordination skills.
• Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines.
• Preferred:
• Experience with structural submissions and approvals in Abu Dhabi Municipality systems.
• Experience in both design office and site supervision roles.
• Familiarity with BIM processes and Revit Structures is an advantage.

Pay: AED6,000.00 - AED10,000.00 per month
