Job Summary

Creative Code Tech is seeking a Structural Engineer to support residential and small-structure projects. The role involves preparing structural drawings, calculations, and documentation while coordinating with architectural teams to ensure safe and code-compliant designs.

Experience with ASCE load standards and ACI concrete design principles is preferred.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare structural plans, details, and calculations for residential buildings and small structures
• Coordinate with architectural staff to ensure code-compliant structural designs
• Produce clear and organized drawings suitable for regulatory review
• Apply structural load standards and engineering design methodologies

Required Skills

• Strong understanding of reinforced concrete and masonry construction commonly used in the region
• Proficiency in AutoCAD
• Ability to interpret construction documents and prepare professional structural drawings
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
• Strong communication and reliability

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience applying ASCE 7 load requirements (seismic, wind, gravity)
• Familiarity with ACI concrete design standards
• Experience working on residential buildings or small structures
• Exposure to international building standards

Wood Construction Training

Training will be provided for Type V wood-frame construction, including:

• Shear wall systems
• Framing systems
• Lateral load paths
• Structural calculation packages for wood design

Prior experience with wood-frame design is a plus but not required.
