Structural Engineer – Metal Industries

• Design and analyze steel and metal structures to ensure safety, stability, and compliance with industry standards.
• Review architectural and mechanical drawings to develop detailed structural designs and connection details.
• Prepare structural calculations, design reports, and drawings for fabrication and construction.
• Collaborate with drafting, estimation, and production teams to ensure design accuracy and practicality.
• Perform load calculations and simulations using structural analysis software (e.g. STAAD Pro, Tekla, ETABS, SAP2000).
• Provide technical support during project execution, including resolving design-related issues at fabrication or site stages.
• Ensure all designs comply with relevant codes and standards (AISC, BS, or equivalent).
• Review and approve shop drawings and material specifications.
• Participate in project meetings with clients, consultants, and contractors.
• Conduct inspections and prepare engineering reports as required.
