Structural Fabricator

Role Overview:

The ideal candidate will be responsible for cutting, shaping, fitting, and assembling structural components used in the construction and repair of vessels, offshore platforms, and marine structures.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Read and interpret blueprints, ship drawings, sketches, and specifications for fabrication tasks.
  • Cut, bevel, form, and weld steel and aluminum components such as hulls, decks, bulkheads, and frames.
  • Lay out materials according to project drawings with precision and attention to detail.
  • Use tools such as cutting torches, grinders, saws, shears, brakes, and forming equipment.
  • Perform tack welding, fitting, and final assembly of structural parts.
  • Ensure completed structures meet dimensional tolerances and quality standards.
  • Assist with rigging, positioning, and installation of fabricated components onto vessels or platforms.
  • Identify material needs and coordinate with inventory or purchasing as needed.
  • Follow all safety procedures and maintain a clean and organized work area.
  • Collaborate with welders, pipefitters, and other trades to meet project schedules and quality requirements.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: AED1,600.00 - AED1,800.00 per month

Education:

  • Diploma (Preferred)

Experience:

  • structural fabrication in marine industry: 2 years (Required)
