Structural Foreman

Job Summary:

The Structural Steel Foreman will be responsible for supervising and coordinating all structural steel erection and fabrication-related site activities. The role ensures work is executed safely, efficiently, and in accordance with approved drawings, project specifications, and schedule.

Key Responsibilities:

• Supervise and manage structural steel erection activities including columns, beams, bracings, trusses, and platforms.
• Coordinate daily work activities of erection crews, welders, riggers, and equipment operators.
• Ensure works are carried out as per approved drawings, method statements, and erection sequences.
• Plan and monitor manpower, tools, cranes, and equipment for efficient execution.
• Ensure strict compliance with HSE rules and site safety procedures.
• Coordinate with Site Engineer, QA/QC Engineer, and Safety Officer for inspections and approvals.
• Monitor welding, bolting (HSFG/torque), and alignment activities during erection.
• Ensure proper handling, storage, and installation of fabricated steel materials.
• Identify and report site issues, delays, or shortages to the Site Engineer/Project Manager.
• Maintain daily progress reports and manpower records.
• Support inspections with consultants and clients and close comments promptly.
• Ensure housekeeping and work area cleanliness at site.

Job Requirements:

• Minimum 5–8 years of experience as a Structural Steel Foreman.
• Mandatory experience in structural steel erection projects in KSA or GCC.
• Strong knowledge of steel erection methods, drawings, welding, and bolting works.
• Ability to read and interpret structural steel shop drawings.
• Good understanding of safety practices related to lifting, working at height, and heavy structures.
• Leadership skills to manage multicultural work crews.
• Physically fit and capable of working in site conditions.

Preferred Qualifications (Advantage):

• Experience in industrial, commercial, or warehouse steel structures.
• Knowledge of HSFG bolting, alignment tolerances, and erection sequence.
• Valid KSA experience with large-scale projects.
