Structural Site Engineer

Key Responsibilities

· Supervise and monitor daily structural construction activities at the project site.

· Review structural drawings, shop drawings, and technical specifications before execution.

· Coordinate with consultants, contractors, subcontractors, and project managers to ensure smooth workflow.

· Ensure structural works comply with approved designs, UAE building codes, and project quality standards.

· Conduct site inspections and prepare progress reports.

· Monitor reinforcement, concrete works, steel structures, formwork, and related structural activities.

· Identify technical issues on-site and provide practical engineering solutions.

· Verify quantities and assist in material inspections and approvals.

· Ensure all works are carried out safely in compliance with HSE regulations.

· Attend project meetings and coordinate with MEP and architectural teams.

· Maintain proper documentation including inspection requests, method statements, and daily reports.

· Support project planning and scheduling to achieve timely completion.

Requirements:

✔ Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering or Structural Engineering.

✔ Minimum 3–7 years of experience in structural site supervision, preferably in the UAE.

✔ Strong knowledge of reinforced concrete and steel structure works.

✔ Familiarity with Dubai Municipality regulations and UAE construction standards.

✔ Proficiency in AutoCAD, MS Office, and structural engineering software.

✔ Ability to read and interpret structural drawings and BOQs.

✔ Strong problem-solving and communication skills.
